Many Websites out there offering advice, recipes and prepared foods on the Specific Carbohydrate Diet MUST be used with caution! Not everyone adheres to Elaine’s strict restrictions; many end up accommodating the diet to what works best for THEM and to their liking!
With that being said, be confident in my site and recipes – know that I do adhere strictly to Elaine’s restrictions plus some. I don’t use any unnatural chemicals, and you won’t find any recipes consisting of what is allowed but not what I choose to eat due to lifestyle choices of my own: dairy, pork, and seafood. ( I also cannot tolerate still after a year and a half any legumes, so no beans of any sort or peanut butter for that matter as it is part of the legume family – bet you didn’t know that! )
All the carbohydrates specified in these suggested recipes are supporting the Specific Carbohydrate Diet; meaning they are all biochemically correct!
The Recipes are all Free of Gluten, Casein, Yeast, Sugar, Starch & Grains!
